Fasting Blog – Day 11

Well guys, we are off and running with our 21 days of prayer and fasting together. Just a couple quick reminders, “Let’s continue to ask ourselves the question, is God #1 in every area of our lives. Also make sure to add more time of prayer and bible study than the usual. Keeping this focus will guarantee moving away from our senses into the supernatural and the mountains in our lives being removed.
One of the biggest mountains to be removed at times are the simple cares of life. Have you ever had a moment when the pressures of life are so great that you feel like you are losing your mind? You know, one of those times when you worry so much that you almost seem to be paralyzed. Well, I Peter 5:7 [Amplified] says, “Therefore humble yourselves…under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you. Casting the whole of your care…all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all…on Him; for He cares for you affectionately, and cares about you watchfully. Listen to me, all our worries, concerns, or life challenges do not take God by surprise, even if we are the cause of the challenges. You can take your cares to His throne, leave them with Him, trusting Him to deal with them for you, and walk away from them completely carefree.
But wait a minute, you may be thinking. Isn’t it irresponsible just to ignore your troubles by not worrying about them? If all you did was ignore them that would be irresponsible but that’s not what you are doing. You are taking a situation that you cannot do anything about and putting it into the hands of God. Through prayer you are putting all your worries, all your concerns into the hands of the one who has the power to solve them. That’s the most responsible thing you can do. Think about this scripture. Hebrews 13:5 [Amplified] says, “For He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up, nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless, nor forsake you nor let [you] down [relax my hold on you]…Assuredly not!” That’s good news…Amen?
Hang in there…stay focused…be selfish with this time in your life and watch the supernatural show up and mountains be removed!!!
