Ministry of Helps
Ministry of Helps is simply a way for believers to serve within the local church. Below you will find numerous opportunities available to members of Coastal Family Church to use their gifts inside the four walls of the church.
As a church, we are also very passionate about serving our community. For more information on this type of service, please go to the 'Outreach' page under the 'Ministries' menu.
Nursery: Nursery services are available to guest and members during our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services. Multiple nursery volunteers are needed each service to not only oversee the children but also take every opportunity to teach them about the love of God. (Note: For the safety of the children, a background check is required to serve in the Nursery.)
Elementary: The elementary department, a.k.a. The Gospel Factory, is available to members and guest during our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services. Gospel Factory volunteers assist in teaching lessons, leading worship, organizing crafts, serving snacks and much more. (Note: For the safety of the children, a background check is required to serve in the elementary department.)
Junior High/High School: Apex meets every Wednesday night at 7:00pm. Volunteers are needed to assist with games, teaching and providing food.
Worship Band and Singers: The music department is always looking for volunteers who are gifted musicians and singers to assist with services on Sunday morning and Wednesday night.
Ushers: Ushers are very important to the flow of our weekly services. Ushers assist in parking, seating, offering, communion and much more. Men and women are welcome to volunteer.
Greeters: Greeters are stationed at the main entrance to welcome guest and members each time we have a service. We want our first impression to be welcoming and greeters help us facilitate that environment.
Housekeeping: Volunteers in the housekeeping department assist in keeping the building clean between services.
Meals Program: Volunteers provide meals for new mothers or members who are sick.
