Finishing Strong

We call to You Lord, who is worthy to be praised, who saves us from our enemies. (2 Samuel 22:4) Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. (Revelation 7:12)

Spirit of God, our Comforter, Counselor, Advocate, Guide, Convictor of sin, Intercessor, Revealer, Spirit of Truth - we enter this final week hungering for relationship with You. Please reveal to us what a precious gift and friend You are to us. Please help us to fully comprehend the magnitude of Love required for the Father to create us, knowing we would rebel and reject Him. For the Son to willingly lay down His life to pay the debt we owed, so that we may have salvation. For Jesus to send You, Holy Spirit, to guide, lead, convict, redirect, and reveal Him and help us through all of the challenges, trials, sufferings and temptations we face on earth. Please help us to commit to finishing strong, seeking to spend more time in Your presence, in the Word and in prayer.

Holy Spirit, this week we are also praying for the lost, those who have not yet been taught the saving Truth of Jesus Christ in the Gospel. And those who have heard, but have not yet believed or accepted. Please guide them into all truth, speaking what You hear from the Father and the Son, disclosing to them what is to come. (John 16:13-14) As You glorify Jesus, taking what is His and disclosing it to them, please open their eyes to see, their ears to hear, their hearts to love, and their mouths to say “Amen, I believe”. We offer up all of these requests in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
