Day 21: PURSUE VICTORY

Loving Father, as we complete this time of prayer and fasting, please help us to stay in communion with you, daily seeking your will and your timing, and acting only when and how you command us to. When it is time to act, please secure in our spirits your promise of victory. Please cement it so solidly in our hearts and minds that we are not tempted to consider any other option. For you “ALWAYS lead us in triumph in Christ, manifesting through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place” (2 Corinthians 2:14). Please help us to stay focused on what battles we need to fight, not trusting “in mortal man, in whom there is no salvation” (Psalm 146:3). Help us to keep our trust firmly in Christ, in pursuit of His commission (Matthew 28:18-20), to our final day on this earth, knowing that You, Father will give us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).

Jesus our Savior, you know your Father’s will and His timing. When walking on this earth as a human, you stayed in constant prayer with him to seek his guidance and not waiver from his plan. Please help us to follow in your example. Please help us to boldly walk the path he has carved out for us. Please help us to have great confidence before Him, knowing that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us (1 John 5:14). Please help us to speak Your word with all confidence (Acts 4:29), preaching the kingdom of God and teaching concerning you, Jesus, with all openness, unhindered (Acts 28:31).

Holy Spirit, as we embark on this new year, we ask for great supernatural help. Please help us to confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6). Please Holy Spirit, “make us bold with strength in our souls” (Psalm 138:3). Please Holy Spirit help us to fulfill the great commission of Jesus, knowing that He is with us always, to the very end, and that “All authority has been given to Him in heaven and on earth” (Matthew 28:1-20). Please help us to respond this whole year of 2021 with conviction in our hearts, boldness in our faith, and love in our spirits. We make all of these requests in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
