Surrender Fully

Jesus, Son of God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name. You are our praise, and You are our God. You have done great and awesome things which our eyes have seen. (1 Chronicles 29:13, Deuteronomy 10:21) Jesus our Savior, thank you for being the Way, the Truth, and the Life; a pathway to Your Father, serving as Mediator between God and man. (John 14:6, 1 Timothy 2:5) Thank You Jesus for teaching us how to pray, for demonstrating how to pull away from the world to connect with the Father, and to surrender to His good and holy will. (Luke 22:42)

Jesus, we come to You today as Your children, asking You to guide us through surrender. Please help us to surrender again, to surrender fully, and to surrender daily. Please help us to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, truly and properly worshiping Him. (Romans 12:1)

Jesus, as we call to mind the person(s) we are praying for, those who once knew truth but who have wandered away from You, we ask that You send the Helper, the Holy Spirit to them. Please ask the Father to send Him to our blinded loved ones, coming in Your name, to teach them all things, and to bring to their memories all that You have said and done for them. (John 14:26) Please send Him, the Counselor, to our precious ones Jesus, to testify about You, so that they may walk in relationship with You and us. Please help us to also testify, because You have been with us from the beginning. (John 15:26-27) We make these requests in Your Holy name. Amen.
